Passenger Drone is a new two seat electric VTOL autonomous craft

The folks over at Passenger Drone have come out of underground mode and decided to show everyone their new project. Coming in the form a personal autonomous VTOL (Vertical Take Of and Landing) electric aircraft, the intent is to revolutionized the way we travel. The age old concept of flying cars has never taken off largely due to the expensive of making such a thing street and air legal as well as cost effective not to mention the Private Pilots license which would be required even for dedicated personal aircraft. Drones on the other hand with their many rotors are known for controlled mid air suspension, something impractical for your typical single rotor helicopter. With the ability to have near-infinitely variable rotor speeds safely staying in position with an electric drone craft is not only possible but relatively trivial. This type of control, paired with the automation technology being developed today, makes it clear what a craft like this would be capable of. Enabling a type of travel previously restricted to those with hundreds of hours of flying experience and training, soon traveling by air could be as easy as calling an Uber or Lyft.
